pronouns: she/her

I began my health care career as a Registered Nurse 18 years ago after completing my Diploma in Nursing at BCIT in 2002. I went on to finish my Bachelor of Nursing at UVIC in 2007 and shortly after completed my Emergency Nursing Certificate. Most of my years as a RN where spent on medical/surgical units, ambulatory care and in Emergency. In 2014, I graduated from Athabasca University with my Master’s in Advanced Nursing Practice and began my journey as a Family Nurse Practitioner here in Powell River. I have been providing primary health care services to my patients at Family Tree Health Clinic for almost 5 years.

I am a wife, mother to 2 amazing daughters and a Crossfit enthusiast that enjoys spending time in the outdoors camping, paddle boarding and biking in the spring/summer months and at the rink watching, coaching and playing hockey in the fall/winter months.
